Now I'll admit that when I got this Voice of Music tuner at the Estate Sale had no expectations it would actually work. It didn't work in stereo though. Admittedly it only seems to get a station or two on the AM dial. It looks good too.

That's all it needed. I also sprayed contact cleaner on the switches. They came off the same shelf after all, and it works. It sat on my shelf for a while too but when I finally plugged it in worked.

At that point I used some advanced technology. Grab it while you can. If you want to get the ball game this is most likely not your best bet. Then I plugged it back in and checked out.

Some troubleshooting, eh. That's all it took. It was sitting on a shelf, next to the matching amplifier, neglected for apparently years. I took the tubes out, one by one, straightened pins and added some exit to sockets.

I was amazed. You're not likely to find a matched pair like this very often show off your friends. For the rest of you this matches up perfectly with that I have posted. When I switched it to stereo would go quiet.
