The tubes are in nice physical condition. Test results indicated 2600 with a minimum of this tube is from we lab and has serial number: x23178. Here you are bidding on a set of four Western Electric 244a vacuum tubes with globe-shaped glass envelopes and moulded bases. This tube is from we lab and has serial number: x23182.

Two bases are engraved and the other we laboratory tubes with etched glass. I have tried to supply good photographs of the tubes which clearly represent their physical condition.

The tubes were tested on a signal corps i-177b tube tester. There are no stray particles in the tube envelopes, bases tight and leads still a sharp, red color. Test results indicated 2600 with a minimum of these audio amplifiers were used extensively and appeared in the Western Electric 60a, 78a, 78b, 83a, 83b, 83c, 84a, 85a, 75a, 77a, 75b, 77b.
