They were tested on a mutual conductance b k tube tester. They are all clearly authentic vintage Tungsol power tubes.

4 vintage 1960s Tungsol 6550 power tubes, 3 hole gray plates, 3 getters, all test very strong, excellent sound. They sound superb, dynamic, open, detailed, transparent, involving, clear, extended, smooth, natural and musical. They are all mid 1960s vintage, authentic usa Tungsol tubes. They have one single getter on the top and 2 single getters on each side.

See my other nice vintage tubes on. 2 of them have broken guide pins on the bottoms typical, but can easily be aligned in the tube socket with no problem I will mark the alignment with a black marker 2 are labeled Tungsol, 1 is ge and 1 is rca. One tube is relabeled ge, but is clearly a vintage Tungsol as described. All 4 tubes measured over 9 where 640 is minimum good, very strong.

Good listening, sonny. These vintage usa made Tungsol 6550S sound excellent and many musicians and audiophiles actually prefer them to the vaunted Benelux kt 88s.
