( Brand: Tungsol ), ( Model: 6AU4GT ), ( Type: Vacuum Tube ), ( Country/region Of Manufacture: United States )
The 6AU4GT tungar nos vacuum tube, also known as the Hickok 107 Tungsol, is a highly regarded and versatile vacuum tube that has been a staple in audio and vacuum technology for decades. This tube is a direct-heated triode, which means it uses a filament to heat the cathode, and is commonly used in applications such as radio frequency (RF) amplifiers, oscillators, and preamplifiers.
The 6AU4GT tungar nos vacuum tube is distinguished by its unique tungsten filament, which is coated with a layer of nascent oxide (NOS), or new old stock. This coating helps to ensure a longer lifespan and improved performance compared to modern tubes. The filament is housed within a glass envelope, which is sealed under vacuum to prevent the entry of oxygen and other gases, which can degrade the performance of the tube.
The 6AU4GT tungar nos vacuum tube has a high gain and a low noise figure, making it well-suited for applications where a clean, clear signal is critical. It also has a wide frequency response, making it a versatile choice for a variety of applications. The tube's anode is made of aluminum, which is coated with a layer of alumina to improve its electrical conductivity.
The 6AU4GT tungar nos vacuum tube is a popular choice among audio enthusiasts and hobbyists, who appreciate its warm, rich sound and vintage character. It is also used in some modern audio equipment, such as high-end preamplifiers and tube amplifiers, where its unique characteristics are sought after for their ability to add warmth and depth to the sound.
In summary, the 6AU4GT tungar nos vacuum tube is a high-quality, versatile tube that is well-suited for a wide range of applications. Its unique tungsten filament, wide frequency response, and high gain make it an excellent choice for audio applications, while its long lifespan and improved performance make it a popular choice for hobbyists and enthusiasts.

Additionally, consider purchasing a tube tester to ensure that the tubes are functioning properly before use.
Cover is in good condition but has normal wear and tear. This is a process, and it takes time.
Please have a look at the pictures for cosmetic condition. So to recap. Please realize when buying antique, vintage or used equipment that they cannot be in an absolute mint perfect condition, might need some service, now later.
All tubes purchased have loads of life left in them. Very good plus - used, some light scratching to either the case or CD record. I am not a huge retail outlet.
When using the word matched it means in test results rather than cosmetic looks. I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if test the same tube, as two testers are never.
Then they are not included in the sale.
I take lots of pictures so you can see cosmetics. I try to resolve any issue both our best interests. It is impossible to describe every scratch, scuff or mark.
Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look same, this is not always case. We check and describe the as much of functionality can. So this shows what I get, and you get may be slightly different. I also sometimes use a hickok 752 for testing if state any values they are guide only.
Light scratching to the case cover. If not fully tested, then items are to the full extent and may have something wrong that I discovered. I do not publish test results in the listing as what get, and someone else might get can be different.
If it does not say matched then please do consider them to be such. They will normally want to see the item and packing. If fully tested then that is what they are. Low and weak tubes are unceremoniously thrown in the nearest trash can, unless they collectors items.
Most have one.
Fully working. Light and medium scratching. That is what they are there for.
Or have only gone so far to test it. Cd record does not play. Very good - used light scratching to both the case and CD record. In regards to the case cover then this grading means or sleeve is badly torn, scuffed, cracked and falling apart.
I make mistakes once in a while. Like new - used but no obvious signs of use.
This offer is for a. If it does not say base, stand, table in either the main body of or title. All tubes have passed the gas and short tests. Use the zoom function and have a good look.
By buying on this item you agree to these stipulations and follow the instructions of post office, or carrier. So take a good look. This means that I have tested something not to its full extent.
In photographs we occasionally use props to display items the best light possible. New - unopened brand new, sealed.
Via messaging. Sorry for you having to read this but would be surprised how many people think the items come with my table or a part of anatomy that I have accidentally caught on camera. Heavy scratching to the disc. I am quite harsh on what is good and bad.
Or if this is in grading regard to the case cover then there may be cracks torn has rips along its edges scuffed quite badly. Then I have not test it. Slightly heavier than above.
May be very light scratching but not noticeable or the case cover scuffed a little excellent ware to both CD record. In these cases it is best buying on as if was broken. Medium to heavy scratching.
If I say untested. I use a tv7 u military spec tester which is calibrated.
Fair - the CD. Record plays, sometimes skips.
May be good or above.
I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they cosmetically or internally look a little different. The numbers letters in parentheses are equivalents put to help people find correct tube.
Rectifiers and diode tubes do not have trans conductance values. I also pack well. It is just my opinion and I would rather paint a bleaker picture of something than saying better. Vacuum tube testing I do not sell just passable tubes.
If you're unhappy with an item.
In regards to the case or cover, then cover is just holding itself together. Cd record still plays ok. Cd still plays well.
