The sound becomes huge. Here is a Vox AC4TVH in excellent condition. Very cool feature and really came handy for me after my son was born.
I plug this little into a 2x12 cabinet and its like whole other world compared to the ac4tv combo. And since its a true attenuate circuit not half power switch, you can literally get cranked tube tone at only 1/4 watt bedroom volume. This is the head version of ac4tv combo. But the coolest feature about this that you don't see on amps anywhere near price range, is attenuate which allows to switch between 4 watts , 1 watt or all way down.
