When I try to change the time it makes display flutter a little but does not numbers. The tube on far right does not fully function but I think it only was supposed to show 1 and am pm indicator. This clock uses old single digit vacuum fluorescent tubes DG19E made in the early 70s.

The single digit tube is an early model for desktop calculators and digital counters. Here is the clock mechanism from a Ge C4690A radio.

The 9-segment numeric displays are 40 years old but they still emit bright light. It has the four single digit, seven segment vfd tubes. The clock does not properly display correct time but control mechanism is in place.

Could use a good cleaning. Vfd was invented in 1967 by ise electronics corp. Then at some point I relocated it to a box and has been stored until now.
