The x 4 af 6 am FM tuner was factory built and has the factory sticker with serial on it and on the instruction manual.

He bought the st 70, pas 3 and an FM 3 tuner as kits and built them. This beautiful set has been on my shelf, unplaced for a years now, and it is a shame that it is not being enjoyed more than looking at, so here it is, and it does not get much better than this. I bought this from the original owner last year, and it has sat on my shelf ever since.

You won't be disappointed. It pulled in am and FM with no external antenna.

The tuning meter and FM tune light work. You can clean and polish the chassis if you like I ll leave that up to you the face plate is dirty, and shows wear on the power switch decal and the tape input switch decal you can clean it if you like I ll leave that up to you. The am antenna on the back is broken and taped at the hinge, but still functions correctly.

He said he loved the stereo 70 and pas 3, but the FM 3 was not as good and he later bought the factory wired af 6 a much better tuner, and far rarer today.

We never use a reserve.

I believe the rest is original.

It has a label on the side from trans a tonics, so some repair has been done to it at some time. I understood that the st 70 and pas 3 are all original with no mods, and just a couple tubes replaced in the stereo 70.

I was able to listen to it when I bought it, and it sounded awesome, and as I play it again today, it sounds equally as awesome lots of power and tone with no hum. This offer includes all his original documentation including 2 original 1960s Dynaco catalogs.

It is covered with dust. The x 7 Dynaco dynamite st70 stereo 70 has a replacement gz34 and replacement pair of British el34s.

While I listened to it last year, he told me he built it while he was at Ithaca college in the 60s. I did not see the stereo light come on, but it may work with a good antenna attached. Please respect this.

Not the wadded up newspaper trick there is a cost for doing this right. The original manual for each of these 3 components is included, along with an original manual for the FM 3 he built, and 2 copies of the original 1960s dynamite catalogs. Let's face it once it's broke, it's broke.
