Included in this listing 4 x matched Rca jan crc 5693 tubes in original white boxes the pictures are of the actual items for sale.
There are two different date codes among these, both are from the early 1960's. I have tested each of these with a calibrated b k DNA quick model 500 tube tester.
The date code on two of them is, week 22, and stamped '5693 a1 usa' on the base. All 4 have the same test readings. The readings are as follows for all 4 tubes no shorts no gas leaks actual gm micrometers life gm micrometers the standard gm for this type of tube is 1650 micrometers.
The other two have a date code of, week 39, and they are stamped '39 a4 usa' on the base. A value of 1800 shows that they are very strong and well above spec. These are new old stock.
Each were tested for shorts, actual dynamic mutual conductance gm, a life test which tests gm under reduced heater voltage and indicates probable useful life, and gas leaks. Matched quad jan crc 5693 nos tubes, CV3699, Rca, 1960's, tested for sale are four 4 matched Rca jan crc 5693 tubes. The matching actual and life gm readings indicate that these are nos tubes.
The one tube in the pictures that appears speckled on the top, has had some small paint flakes come off the top of it.
