Price is for one matched pair. For sale a very tightly matched pair of what many consider to be the best phono tube ever. There is no on this pair meaning they were produced by Siemens. The mid range is ruler flat, and bass tight accurate.

When Telefunken ceased tube production in 1968, they outsourced of their tubes to Siemens and Philips. This means pair of E189CC was most likely produced in the early '70s. These tubes impress by their sense of open air at the top end. The best examples of this type are e188cc E189CC whether branded Telefunken or Siemens.

My personal favorites. The sound stage is large, even in mono applications. These are not warm tubes and neither they bright. They are excellent tubes, as good any accurate with a clean, focused sonic image which at times is simply astonishing.

These tubes have a fine sense of dynamics, and impressively quiet. They have a great 3-d image. In any case, they have the same production code: by way, 1970s versions of these brands are excellent as this pair proves.
