The TAD EL34-STR REDBASE can replace any 6CA7 or KT77. Its high TC Gm creates a very dynamic tone and superior string attack. I bought them to tube roll an integrated was playing around with, but ended up selling it. The precise and harmonic top end allows great clean tone at same time the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offers a powerful mid range bottom.

Pushed to overdrive, this turns into the perfect lead sound with lots of singing sustain and crisp attack. The new TAD EL34-STR REDBASE is a remake of the British Millard EL34 with its rugged construction and tone. I bought these from Tube Depot about a month ago and only have 4-5 hours on them, so not even broken in yet.
