The bottle itself has an amber tint to the glass and the tube base and pins while dirty, make good contact. Filament voltage 7. 75 amperes cosmetically the tube base has a heavy patina from age and there are no markings except for the designation vt14 written inside the tube bottle.

Hi everybody I have up for sale this week for your consideration a very interesting tube. Because I can't fully test this tube I make no guarantee of functionality beyond what is shown here and am selling this tube solely for collecting and display purposes.

While i'm unable to test the emissions of this tube due to lack of setup data, I am able to minimally test and subsequently light the filament with my Hickok 800 as that data is readily available and listed further down below. 5 volts filament current 1.

From my understanding, the vt 14 was designed to be the successor to the vt 12 tube which in turn itself was designed to be an alternative or successor to the western electric vt 2 for specific applications.
