I was saving them as a backup in case ever needed to replace the blue J kt-88's. I ended up going with the blue J kt-88s at time these were more expensive ones, and they ones wanted to use Electro-Harmonics tubes went back in there box have stayed until today. 2 Electro Harmonix KT90EH tubes can also replace KT88 or 6550 one pair of Electro-Harmonix KT90EHin the original boxes very low usage, less than 1 hour play time read for details this listing is.

I will also be listing the mentioned amps, and other tubes soon. With these tubes the base is solid and defined, Midas are balanced, highs smooth clear. Note: I also have a tube tester, and these tubes pass the test. I have read that they also do a very nice job bringing realism to female vocals.

As they should, are basically brand new. A while back I purchased set of mono block kt-88 based power amps. I am sure do not have more than a 1/2 hour of play time on them. The KT90EH tube is an excellent quality and a solid performer in WiFi applications.

The Electro Harmonix kt90-eh tube is a drop-in for any KT88 or 6550. I remember after received the tubes plugged each one in for just a short period of time, and picked liked most. One set was these Electro Harmonics, and the other a pair of blue J kt 88's, I also have another unmarked tubes that came with amps. A few weeks ago one of my two power amps stopped working, so I will never have need for these tubes.
