You can use it with short-pin UV-199 tubes if find an adapter there are some on the market x for UV-201-a, c-301-a, long pin and c-299 types of vacuum. I was also able to burn up the filament of an o1a with 30 seconds on high setting, so be careful. It does work. This filament rejuvenation or flashing on weaker tubes was successful to some degree a few older like the 01as with threaded tungsten filaments.

I was able to improve the quality of a o1a with about 5 minutes on medium setting.
