( Brand: Raytheon ), ( Type: 12ax7a )
The Raytheon 12AX7A ECC83 Single Plate Getter is a high-quality vacuum tube that is widely used in various audio applications. This tube is a direct replacement for the original 12AX7A and ECC83 tubes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of vintage and modern audio equipment.
The Raytheon 12AX7A ECC83 features a single plate getter design, which is known for its superior performance and longevity. The getter material, a type of metal that absorbs gases and moisture, is located on the inside of the glass envelope, ensuring a longer tube life by reducing gas ionization. The single plate getter design also allows for better signal integrity and less noise compared to dual getter designs.
The 12AX7A ECC83 tube is a triode vacuum tube, meaning it has three terminals: the grid, plate, and cathode. It operates at a voltage of 6.3V and a current of 30mA, making it a versatile tube for use in pre-amplifiers, power amplifiers, and other audio applications.
The Raytheon 12AX7A ECC83 is manufactured using Raytheon's proprietary processes and materials, ensuring a high level of consistency and quality. The tube is carefully tested and inspected before shipping to ensure that it meets Raytheon's rigorous quality standards.
Overall, the Raytheon 12AX7A ECC83 Single Plate Getter is a high-performance vacuum tube that offers excellent signal integrity, low noise, and long tube life. It is a great choice for audio enthusiasts who demand the best performance from their vintage and modern equipment.

Treat your vintage to some amazing vintage tubes. Many buyers would prefer to clean them themselves, so that they can choose whether or not to keep the silk screening with the brand name on the tubes or not. However I got complaints from folks if some of the silk screening name was removed.
