Review RCA Military Tube Crc Metal Vacuum Rare Spec Jan

The Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum is an extraordinary piece of historical technology, meticulously crafted to emulate the original 1851 telegraph sounder tube used in the early days of communication. This reproduction tube is not just a mere replica but a functional artifact that allows you to experience the past in a tangible way.

The Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum measures approximately 12 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter, giving it a substantial yet manageable size. It is constructed with high-quality materials, such as brass and glass, that not only replicate the appearance of the original tube but also ensure durability and longevity.

The tube operates on a vacuum principle, where a small amount of air is trapped inside the glass bulb. When an electrical current is passed through the tube, the air inside the bulb is ionized, creating a electromagnetic field that causes a metal arm to move up and down in a rhythmic motion. This movement produces a distinct, Morse-code-like sound, reminiscent of the early days of telegraph communication.

The Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum is a captivating addition to any collection of antique or historical technology. It also serves as a unique and engaging educational tool for those interested in the history of communication, electricity, and technology. Whether you're an enthusiast, collector, or simply someone who appreciates the intriguing allure of vintage technology, the Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum is an unparalleled choice.

Pros of Buying Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum:

1. Authenticity and Historical Value: These tubes are vintage and have a rich historical background as they were used in military applications during World War II. Collectors and history enthusiasts may find them appealing.

2. Unique Sound Quality: Vacuum tubes are known for their warm, rich, and natural sound quality which can be appealing to audiophiles.

3. Durability: Vacuum tubes have fewer moving parts than solid-state devices, which can make them more durable in the long run.

Cons of Buying Military Tube 1851 RCA Vacuum:

1. Limited Compatibility: Vacuum tubes may not be compatible with modern audio equipment. You may need to purchase additional components to use them, which can increase the overall cost.

2. Limited Availability: Military tube 1851 RCA vacuums are vintage and may be hard to find. You may have to pay a premium price or wait for a long time to find one.

3. High Maintenance: Vacuum tubes require regular maintenance, such as replacing the filaments and cleaning the inside of the tubes, which can be time-consuming and expensive.

Conclusion:

Buying a military tube 1851 RCA vacuum can be a unique and rewarding experience, especially for collectors and audiophiles who appreciate the history and sound quality of vintage technology. However, it's important to consider the limitations and potential costs associated with using such tubes, including compatibility issues, limited availability, and high maintenance requirements.

Recommendation:

If you're interested in purchasing a military tube 1851 RCA vacuum, I recommend doing thorough research to ensure it's compatible with your audio equipment and you're prepared for the potential costs and maintenance requirements. You may also want to consider purchasing it from a reputable seller to ensure its authenticity and quality. Ultimately, whether or not it's worth it for you depends on your personal interest and budget.

Details:

Cover is in good condition but has normal wear and tear.

In regards to the case cover then this grading means the case or sleeve is badly torn, scuffed, cracked and is falling apart. This is a process, and it takes time.

Via messaging.

Very good plus used, some light scratching to either the case or CD record. I try to resolve any issue to both our best interests.

Cd record does not play.

Please realize when buying antique, vintage or used equipment that they cannot be in an absolute mint or absolute perfect condition, they might need some service, now or later. If fully tested then that is what they are.

Then I have not test it. If not fully tested, then items are not tested to the full extent and may have something wrong that I have not discovered.

In regards to the case or cover, then the case cover is just holding itself together. In these cases it is best buying on it as if it was broken. Vacuum tube testing I do not sell just passable vacuum tubes.

May be good or above. If I say untested.

By buying on this item you agree to these stipulations and to follow the instructions of the post office, or carrier. Low and weak tubes are unceremoniously thrown in the nearest trash can, unless they are collectors items. Please have a look at the pictures for the cosmetic condition.

It is impossible to describe every scratch, scuff or mark. I am quite harsh on what is good and bad.

I make mistakes once in a while. Like new used but no obvious signs of use. Light and medium scratching.

The numbers letters in parentheses are equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I do not publish test results in the listing as what I get, and what someone else might get can be different.

Here is a rare old Rca metal jan crc 1851 metal military spec vacuum tube tv7 tested photos shown in this listing are of the actual item for sale. Slightly heavier than above.

Use the zoom function and have a good look. This means that I have tested something not to its full extent. They will normally want to see the item and packing.

Medium to heavy scratching. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. Rectifiers and diode tubes do not have trans conductance values. If you're unhappy with an item.

I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. It is up to you to make a judgment call and decide if it is worth the risk of buying.

Very good used light scratching to both the case and CD record.

Most have one. Or if this is in grading is in regard to the case cover then there may be cracks in the case or the cover is torn, or has rips along its edges or scuffed quite badly.

If I state any values they are for a guide only. Sorry for you having to read this but you would be surprised how many people think the items come with my table, the wife's legs etc.

Cd still plays well.

This offer is for a if it does not say base, stand, table, my wife, in either the main body of the or title. Light scratching to the case cover. I take lots of pictures so you can see cosmetics.

Heavy scratching to the disc.

Fair the CD record plays, sometimes skips. So to recap.

All tubes have passed the gas and short tests. When using the word matched it means in test results rather than in cosmetic looks. May be very light scratching but not noticeable or the case cover may be scuffed a little excellent very light ware to both the CD record or case cover.

All tubes purchased have loads of life left in them. I use a tv7 u military spec tester which is calibrated. It is just my opinion and I would rather paint a bleaker picture of something rather than saying it is better than it is.

Or have only gone so far to test it. So take a good look.

Cd record still plays OK.

In photographs we occasionally use props to display items in the best light possible.

Fully working. Then they are not included in the sale.

I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different.

That is what they are there for.
