All of my tubes, except for these particular ones, are in boxes and I want these out of my way.

I am offering them at low used tube prices to get rid of them. They were also designed to meet stringent ruggedness standards not required by the domestic market. This batch of tubes were all in one box and the tube boxes had deteriorated so badly that they literally disintegrated.

These jan 829B's were spares for the faa's communication navigation systems in the 50's. Note this note is for those of you not familiar with military electronic equipment designation jan. They after 45 years in climate controlled storage, these tubes have just been released and are new old stock in original boxes and are untested. It was designed to withstand the harshest of weather conditions, from the north pole to grueling desert climates.

After 56 years there was only one box that was still partially in tact when my wife unpacked them she unknowingly threw the rest of the boxes away. The term jan is an acronym for joint army navy nomenclature system jan. These rugged tubes should give you years of trouble free service.
