The tube also retains the original green Sylvania leaf on top, although partially worn. One of the more sought after boxes among tube collectors due to its serene artwork, this box shows wear with some denting and softened edges but still retains original top tab. The SX-200A tube was Sylvania version of a detector tube, this example dating to the late 1920s. The tube is rolled up in its protective wrapping along with the paperwork.

Couple that with the box and contents this makes for an incredibly nice historical example display or use. While other examples come up from time to time, it is rare see one so complete. Tested on a calibrated Knight KG-600B tube tester with no shorts and leaks where 50 is minimum pass/good the following results: Sylvania 60, The test result slightly weaker side but still has life left in it.
